Reunion pictures, anyone?

Roz Russell assures me that she's posted her reunion pictures online at yahoo. I've invited her to post the link here so that we can easily view the pictures. You can do the same, or email the pictures to me for posting. I'm a little behind, Alice, but I still intend to do it!

John W. Alguire

John W. Alguire, "Johnny," of Scottsdale, previously of Billings, with his "bucket list" nearly completed, and after battling multiple cancers for the past 16 months, with his family at his bedside went to a better place on Wednesday, March 31, 2010.

Johnny was born on December 19, 1940 in Beach, North Dakota to John C. and Edna J. Woods Alguire. He moved with his family to Billings in 1948. He was our classmate, graduating from Billings Senior High School with the class of 1959. He was a student at Eastern Elementary School, and attended Eastern Montana College in Billings and the University of Montana in Missoula.

This past year, Johnny and his sons attended Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, and ZZ Top concerts, and the 2009 Indy 500. In July, with wife Judy Baumgartner Alguire, he was able to attend his niece Kate's wedding in Montana, and then traveled to Whitefish, Montana to spend special time with his sister and brother-in-law.

Johnny is survived by Judy and their sons Jon and Jeff, all of Scottsdale; his granddaughter, Kyra Alguire, of Billings; his sister, Marilyn (Rockwood) Brown of Billings; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

His family is grateful to Dr. J. Camoriano and the team at the Mayo Clinic; hospice nurse Pam, and the Eckstein Center staff in Scottsdale for their compassionate, competent care for the past 16 months. No words will ever be enough to express Johnny's thanks to his boyhood friend, Darryl Lee Lutzker of Phoenix, for being here for Johnny Bill.

Please send donations to the Mayo Clinic, esophageal cancer research, Department of Development, 13400 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ 85259, or Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. Cremation has taken place, and a private service is planned.
