Leaves
Hurrying to jump into the car and get out of the rain, I glanced downward as I hastily stepped from sidewalk into the street. My subconscious mind registered several things simultaneously: safety, no cars, leaves, color, beauty, clogged drain, soon, hurry, pattern, maple, autumn, red, picture and probably several other things I don't recall now. My point is simply this - in our haste going about our daily lives... what do we simply walk over, under or around without noticing?
There is so much we all (me included) miss as we pass through our days. What have you stepped over, under or around recently? -Ed

Memories
Remember what a big deal it was to leave sixth grade and go to junior high? Exciting as that was, it seems to me that we really weren't much more grown up, and in fact spent our time with other 7th graders, happy as clams. But then--8th grade, much older, right? Cliques formed, we started having parties and dating. Ninth, and we were the big kids, practically adults! Only, when we started BHS--back to being the little kids again. And so on. I remember, in perhaps 7th grade, being so aware of the older high school kids, whom I thought of as grownups. How could we not be aware of them, given the intense coverage of all school events and even private parties, by the Gazette?
It amazes me, sometimes, that I remember that all so clearly. They're my memories, though. My friends remember particular parties and incidents differently than I do, or perhaps not at all, because their minds recorded other incidents and parties. When we get together and say "Remember when...." I may not remember at all.
How about your memories?

School Days, Good Ol' Golden Rule Days
If you live away from Billings, what do you miss or do you miss anything about Billings?
I miss the Fall weather with the leaves turning colors. I do not miss the wind, nor the snow!

Welcome, Class of 1959
Are you looking forward to our reunion next fall? We are, too! In the meantime, let's get to know each other all over again.
This blog is the brainchild of Judy Baumgardner Alguire, Dave Moulton, Eddie Burris, and me, Brenda Tronson Snow. We want to hear from all of you, and welcome your comments, memories, photos, stories about your fabulous vacations, and yes, jokes, as long as they're in somewhat reasonable taste. This is your blog! Have at it!
