We're Going To "Rock n Roll'

I read an ad in the paper today
It was fourth page in the Billings Gazette.
Where they're about to have
The dandiest BSH 59 reunion yet.

I tried to decide if I should go
To meet my old friends and peers.
And see how classmates from the past
Had aged in all these many years.

I finally resolved that I should go
And see what I would find.
Meet my friends from the BSH Blog
Of nineteen fifty-nine.

Thursday we'll 'Rock n Roll' to 'Chan Romero'
Friday night will be the 59 'Meet n Greet'.
Saturday we'll dance and of course eat
The Sunday Brunch will finish us off just fine.

So I polished my shoes
Then ran a brush through my hair.
Trimmed my mustache and my beard
And even put on clean underwear.

I emptied the bottle of after shave
And went and rented a limousine.
I brushed my teeth with Ultra-Bright
Then gargled some Listerine.

I soon arrived in splendid form
With a flower on my chest.
Sporting a rented diamond ring
And smelling my very best.

I was dressed in my finest garb
Like a monarch at a feast.
When I discovered that no one there
Seemed familiar in the least.

Well not one person remembered me
And I wondered, as I drank some wine.
When Oops! I discovered that I was in
A party for people driving the Ford Mustang. ;-)
